Bioxcin is a trademark of BİOTA Herbal Medicine and Cosmetic Laboratories Inc. (referred to as “BİOTA/Data Controller/Company”). The data controller for personal data obtained under the Bioxcin brand name is BİOTA.

This Privacy Notice is prepared to inform and enlighten you about our personal data processing activities in accordance with Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). BİOTA Herbal Medicine and Cosmetic Laboratories Inc. (the “Company”), registered with the Istanbul Trade Registry and located at Emek Mah. Sıvat Cad. No9 Sancaktepe/Istanbul, is the data controller.

2. Data Collected Through the Website

You can contact us or leave comments via our website. For this process, your name, surname, email address, and the content of your message will be collected.

IP and log data, which are mandatory under Law No. 5651, are stored on the servers where our website is hosted, in compliance with the law. These logs and IP information include the connection date-time, requests made, and data volume.

In addition to these, cookies are used on our website to personalize your internet experience and for advertising purposes.

3. Purpose of Processing Your Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed in accordance with the fundamental principles set forth in KVKK, even without your explicit consent, in the following circumstances:

6. Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Your Personal Data

Your personal data may be collected through forms, emails, phone calls, SMS, our website, mobile apps, shipments, written communications, fieldwork, social media, third parties, postal services, web interfaces, camera recordings, assistance companies, and other channels for the purposes of conducting our activities. Your data may be processed or transferred based on explicit consent or within the exceptions outlined in KVKK Articles 5/2 and 6/3.

7. Retention Period for Personal Data

Our Company retains personal data processed under KVKK only for as long as required by the relevant legislation or for the purposes of processing. After this period, the data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

For instance:

  • Under the Electronic Commerce Regulation Law No. 6563, personal data used for marketing or promotional purposes will be stored for one year following the withdrawal of the individual's consent.

  • The content of commercial electronic messages and other records will be stored for three years for submission to relevant authorities if necessary.

  • Under Law No. 5651, traffic data will be stored for two years and anonymized thereafter.

 8. Your Rights Under KVKK Article 11

Individuals whose personal data is processed by BİOTA have the following rights under Article 11 of KVKK:

  • To learn whether their personal data is processed,

  • To request information about the processing,

  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with its purpose,

  • To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or internationally,

  • To request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,

  • To request the deletion or destruction of personal data,

  • To request notification of corrections or deletions to third parties to whom data has been transferred,

  • To object to unfavorable outcomes derived exclusively from automated systems,

  • To claim compensation for damages incurred due to unlawful processing.

You may submit your requests regarding these rights to BİOTA through the methods specified under KVKK Article 13 and the relevant legislation. Requests will be processed within 30 days without charge unless additional costs are incurred.

For inquiries, you may fill out the BİOTA KVKK Data Subject Application Form and submit it in person, via notary, KEP (Registered Email), or through your email address registered in our system.

The applicant must submit their application along with documents and evidence proving their identity. In accordance with Article 2 of the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for Application to the Data Controller, the application must include the following information: name and surname, signature (if the application is made in writing), Turkish Identity Number (TCKN), address for notification or workplace address, email address (if applicable), telephone number, fax number (if applicable), and the subject of the request. If these documents cannot be verified, a positive response to the application will not be provided.
